Good/Evil

At birth I think that we are generally extremely selfish babies. At birth we're always crying if we don't get what we want and we wont stop until we do. We don't care how busy or stressed out our parents are we want whatever it maybe and we would want it as soon as possible. From there we inherent whatever morals, desires, and habits we get from our parents and whatever we learn from our parents can help influence whether or not we develop into a good or evil person. Also the factor of free will, the fact we can do whatever we want, plays a huge part in whether we're good of evil. If we have the choice to do something that we seem is good for us but is actually bad at that certain moment and something, in our eyes, isn't as fun or as enjoyable we;ll probably do the thing thats bad for us.Young kids and teenagers look to society to "feel cool/accepted" by other people and what ever society is dishin out those kids are going to take in. By the looks of it society thinks that sex and drugs are okay so of course society can corrupt young people, in no way does society restrain people from its own corruption.

School Reform

I say get rid of all thew schools that are terrible because they cant pass an easy test like the WASL. If you are not doing an efficient enough job then you should be fired and executed. There is a standard that all schools should be meeting and if they are not meeting that standard they should accept the consequences for sucking so badly. If OHS students we not performing at the state standard because of the poor teachings of the teachers then something should happen. I could care less what happens here, if half the staff is fired because they're terrible, well whose fault is that? As long as I'm getting the proper education I need to lead a successful life I'm fine.http://www.mdrc.org/subarea_index_29.html

Technology

The fact that technology is ever changing means the mankind has to change as well to adapt to the ever changing world. If mankind does not adapt we could eventually be consumed by our our creations i.e muscle infecting nanobots. Have none of you seen I, Robot? That could eventually be us if we do not contain the exponential growth of technology. On the other hand technology has made everything a lot more convenient. For instance, instead of using a fire to heat my tortillas I could use the hot plate on my stove to heat it up and make a quesadilla.
